I'm Teshan Fernando

As a teenager in high school, I found myself buried under the crushing weight of anxiety, depression, and a total lack of clarity on who I was supposed to be and where I was supposed to go. Fast forward to now, and I'm a thriving high school teacher and teenage life coach, helping teens work through exactly the same issues I was dealing with as a kid.
For the last 13 years I have been on a personal journey to understand exactly what it takes not just to survive as a human being in our modern day world, but to thrive in it. And I've learned a lot. Through my own personal experiences and through the teachings of some of the greatest personal development leaders in the world, I climbed out of the deep dark hole that was my adolescence into a bright and happy existence full of optimism and growth.Â
But I haven't forgotten where I came from. And I haven't forgotten what life is like when you're a teenager; when every day is a struggle, and where it can sometimes feel like you're so alone, even when you have people that love you. I've made it my own personal mission to help as many teenagers as I can come out of the other side of adolescence as happy, as healthy, and as successful as they can be.
